St. Luke’s is always striving to be an inside-out church, dedicated to supporting the city in ways that are authentic and empowering.

In 2019, Dr. Tom Pace felt it was time to hold a capital campaign that focused on making a positive impact in the city. After months of research, a committee landed on the desire to bring a unique workforce development program to Houston. The chosen model is one used in many cities across the country: a workforce development training program in a culinary setting. With the help, trust, and support of many, PX Project became a reality.

This is certainly not the first 501c3 that St. Luke’s has helped bring to fruition. In its 75 year history, St. Luke’s has been an integral part of beginning the following organizations:
